Websites
I've had the opportunity to make some really interesting sites over the past few years. I took a couple of courses at Sheridan, and picked up a lot on my own. I prefer making sites with PHP because it's a powerful scripting language with a lot of open source projects. My websites use CSS for the layout, and are optimized for search engines. Have a look at some of the sites that I have worked on below.
WFN: World Fishing Network
I manage all the content on the WFN website. This includes news articles, blogs, homepage carousels, videos and more.
Jovian Synth
This site showcases new porducts and has a messages forum for product support.
Catch, Click, Win!
This is a site for a photo contest. It includes a submission form that automatically creates a thumbnail and scaled down copy of the photo and saves the entrant's information in a database. I created a language switch function that allows visitors to switch between English and French page templates (default is the default browser language or the last used setting). There is also a custom built administration panel for approving images and selecting random weekly winners.
Stringease
This company makes very innovative fishing tackle. The site promotes their products and has a listing of all the products that they sell.
Linear Response
This site is for a company that installs home automation, multimedia entertainment systems, and theaters. I really like the monotone gray with lime green accents. Be sure to take a look at the tabs on the Products & Services page.
Izumi Productions
This site was designed as a sales tool to help promote the production side of Izumi Outdoors Inc. It showcases the company's multimedia production capabilities.
